The Pier V Railing has a couple of "landmarks" on it--marks that are distinctive, deep, or low enough on the railing that they stick around for longer than the streaks of color in the "sweet spots" (the two v-shaped zones at each end of the railing where most of the skateboarding tricks happen). This one, the Archipelago, is the first one I named. Gathering all the Archipelago shots in one gallery is a step toward being able to make a time-lapse set, showing all the colors that have happened around it and the erosion of the Archipelago itself since I began this project in 2105.
